May I receive the Eucharist now after the annulment?

I recently received an annulment for my first marriage. I am a cradle catholic, confirmed one year ago and married to my second husband. We married outside of the church. He is currently participating in the RCIA program and plans to be baptised next Easter. We hope to have our marriage convalidated and/or blessed. In the meantime, can I receive the eucharist? Once I received the annulment, the RCIA director told me that I could participate in the sacraments. I would like to know if that is true. I don’t feel comfortable asking my priest. Thank you.

Dear friend,

Until you are validly married in the Catholic Church, and continue to have marital relations with a person with whom you are not validly married, you continue to commit a mortal sin every time you do so. IF you live in a celibate way until you are married in the Church, you may go to Confession and receive Holy Communion.
