May I register in another parish?

Hello! Is it OK to go to another parish in an adjoining city if I don’t care to attend the one in the city I live? The differential in distance is small since I am talking about 2 incorporated cities in Los Angeles County, California.

Hi,

Yes, it is ok. The current code of canon law does not require that one register in the parish in whose territory one resides.
