May I replace Confession with Eucharistic adoration?

If during Eucharistic adoration I confess my sins and ask forgiveness in the real presence of Christ from the real presence of Christ, is that considered a valid reconciliation? Do I need to need to confess the same sins to a priest to fullfil my sacramental responsibility?

Thanks.

Dear Daito,

It was Jesus who gave the apostles the power to forgive sins. He made the rules. Each sacrament helps us in its own way. The sacrament of Penance or Confession is how our sins are forgiven—not adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. I know it is more difficult to confess our sins to another person. The humility that this entails is good for us. You need to go to Confession. You are in my prayers.
