Hi.
Today, while praying to Our Lady after a rosary, I was blessed with the most amazing experience. The first thing to note, I guess, was that I completely lost track of time, noises around me, and everything except what happened. I also felt very calm and peaceful, as I was deep in prayer. I saw a vision of the Immaculate Heart – just the heart – before a white background. A small, blue/white flame came from the top of it. Around the heart, running from the top of each atrium to the centre of the muscle, was the traditional chain of flowers. In the top of each atrium, inserted at a diagonal, was a sword. I was surprised, because the traditional Immaculate heart has either 1 or 7 swords, not two, so I asked Our Lady what the swords meant. She explained to me, in a voice clear and distinct from my mind’s own voice, lovely and gentle and smooth and full of love, that the first sword was that of the passion (prophesied by Simeon) and that the second one was the sword that pierced her soul whenever a sin was committed. As my prayers were coming to an end, Our Lady ordered me to write down and draw the vision before doing anything else, and I did so. While I was writing, she explained more fully, adding about 5 words to her original discourse. I came to think that the loss of any soul through sin causes Our Lady as much sorrow as the passion because: 1. The death of Christ, she knew, was not a final defeat. His soul was not lost and would soon be triumphant. The soul of the mortal sinner is lost forever. 2. The loss of every soul plunges Christ into deep sadness.
One thing that was very clear in what I believe Our Lady said to me was that I was to promote and tell people about this, and here is my two-fold question: Is there anything in this vision which is contrary to Catholic doctrine? (bear in mind the underlined part is my own personal thoughts on the vision, not part of the vision itself) Considering this is an unapproved experience, am I allowed to tell others about it?
