May I use the USA breviary translation?

Dear Fr,

As a priest I am bound to recite the Liturgy of the Hours, daily. This is indeed a great privilege. I noted with interest a string of newspaper stories a while back announcing that the Vatican had approved the use of a phone app called Ibreviary. However it uses the English translation approved for the USA, which is close, but not the same as the translation approved for Australia. While normally I would simply recite the office from a book, is it permitted for me to use the USA translation for Ibreviary?

Hi Father,

You certainly may privately use a translation of the Liturgy of the Hours that has been approved by Rome for use in a country other than your own. The key word here is “approved.”
