May priests mention past confessions during a confession?

I know that priests can’t talk about confessions outside of the confessional even to the penitents themselves (such as bringing up something confessed in a conversation with them, for example), but can they mention them to the penitent during a later confession? Thank you.

Hi,

They shouldn’t mention past confessions unless the penitent brings them up or gives the priest permsission to talk about them. When a priest gives absolution, the matter is closed by the seal of the sacrament, except for the above mentioned instances.
