May Sat. evening Mass be used to fulfil Sun. Mass obligation?

I have had a discussion with my sister about the practice of going to Mass on Sat. evening in place of Sun. Mass. My position is that it can fulfill one’s obligation in an emergency or if one has to work,and not in place of.

Can. 1248 §1. A person who assists at a Mass celebrated anywhere in a Catholic rite either on the feast day itself or in the evening of the preceding day satisfies the obligation of participating in the Mass.

Attending at Mass on a Saturday evening fulfills one’s Sunday obligation no matter what the reason is for attending.
