Can a Catholic attend (not participate) in a wedding in a non-denominaltional church. The couple to be married are both divorced - one is Episcapalian the other is Baptist. Can I, as a Cathollic, attend the wedding. The bride is my monther-in-law, which makes it delicate. However, if it is against the Churches teachings, then my family will not attend. God bless my mother-in-law, she understood when I said that we couldn’t actively participate, but it will be very difficult for her if we can’t be there. If we cannot attend, could someone point me to where I can find this information to pass on to her. Thx. God bless you.
