If God is outside of time, and Heaven is outside of time… and the judgment occurs in heaven… are those of us who make it into Heaven already in Heaven? As in, since the judgment will occur, but has occurred, and is occurring as far as God is concerned, are we both here alive, and there judged, and in our respective punishment/rewards all at once?

I was always told there is never a dumb question (but this takes the cake!!! just kidding of course, I"m in a silly mood this am-too much coffee)😉

so I am waiting to see responses. are you asking if we are receiving rewards and punishment here on Earth for our actions?😉

God is indeed outside of time, but we ourselves will never share that trait. Even in Heaven, there is time. It is a different kind of time from what we experience here in the material world, but it is time nevertheless. Thus, we can say definitively and unequivocally that the final judgment has not yet occurred.

It also wouldn’t be entirely correct to say that the judgment occurs in Heaven. Heaven, properly speaking, is a place (and state) the just go after judgment, but not before it or during it.

I’ll just keep my thoughts to myself in the future.

Better silence.
Once St Augustin was in anxiety over the problem of the Holy Trinity and, walking in the beach, he saw a child going back an forth from the sea to a small sand hole. “What are you doing?” - “I am going to put the sea inside this hole!” - “Oh! Baby! You cannot do that! The sea is so big, the hole so small!” - “So you, Augustin, thinking in the Holy Trinity!”, and the child disappeared.
Legend.
But thinking on the 7th dimension of time or eternity is useless.
“What a good grass must be eating Our King!” - said the horses in the stables hearing the noise of the King’s Feat upstairs.
St. Augustin tale again.

No time!

OH bmullns please forgive me and I told you I was joking, I guess you didn’t appreciate my sense of humor, but I really didn’t mean anything condescending , But I really did mean:

there is no such thing as a stupid question, so even a silly one should be asked.

and since I really didn’t understand your question I thought I’d wait for responses.

smile!

Yes. Its entirely possible that the elect are looking at you from eternity, and if you number among them, the you are looking at yourself.

Catholics teach there is the personal judgement that happens immediately after the death, and the general judgement at the end of the world.

At the general judgement, everything will be revealed because it is justice that everybody be told about what people have done.
It doesn’t matter where the soul is during the general judgement, Heaven, earth, hell, purgatory or Kookamonga. No cell phones or loudspeakers will be needed. Everybody will learn all.
