Meaning of Pope Clement's Letter to Corinthians (Chapter 40)

Interesting that the bishop of Corinth was receiving instruction from the bishop of Rome. It might seem to indicate that the word that came from Rome was taken quite seriously.
To an ignorant Catholic like myself, steeped in the darkness as I am, it looks exactly like that.😃

No worries… to an amateur, and immature, historian like me, it fits oddly along the lines of other similar things, like what all happened with St. Leo.
