Just bought a new crucifix from Rugged Rosaries. It is a “Rustic Alpha and Omega” crucifix. On the top, there is a symbol that appears to be Greek: pi inside delta (triangle). I cannot find an explanation anywhere: anybody here have any idea? The triangle could mean Trinity but pi…

I think this isn’t Pi but the Hebrew letter Het. Hebrew letter symbolism is a field in which I have absolutely no expertise whatsoever, but IIRC, it is the first letter of the word “chaim” (meaning life) and its shape is said to be evocative of a door (the doors of Passover).

… And the triangle, I think, is just a triangle, not a delta. My guess is the OP is right about the Trinity symbol.

The letter at the top appears to be the letter in the Hebrew that is the word for “Ya” or Yahweh. The "delta’ is the triangle that symbolizes the Holy Trinity.

word for “Ya” or Yahweh
I don’t think so. The Tetragram (Yahweh’s name) is spelled out like this : יהוה (with ה, not ח).
And, as Hebrew reads from right to left, ה is not the first but the last letter of the Tetragram.

Thanks to you and everybody. You know, I have purchased the Momento Mori, Irish Penal, WWII Metal Bead and Padrio Pio Rosaries from them and never saw that page!

I know it’s a poor excuse but it was auto-corrected initially to “moment” and I corrected it by simply adding an “o”.

Maybe the pi is a simple altar. The inner life of the Trinity is out-poured divine Self-Gift among the Persons, which is reflected in creation in the Self-Gift of the Son on the Cross.
