I have a question, would you give a starving child a hamburger even though there is a very small chance it could be tainted?

How many kids have died from tainted meat? 50,000,000 have died from abortion. I think I can do a lot more good there. yes I care about tainted meat deaths, but there is a lot more abortions
In the United States there are approximately 61 deaths from E.coli poisoning annually: wrongdiagnosis.com/e/e_coli_food_poisoning/deaths.htm

AND ***25,000 people a year ***become sickened from E.coli poisoning. Incidence extrapolations for USA for E-coli food poisoning: 25,000 per year, 2,083 per month, 480 per week, 68 per day, 2 per hour wrongdiagnosis.com/e/e_coli_food_poisoning/stats.htm

I don’t know if all of the 25,000 people recover fully, however. I will have to look for stats on that. Some have permanent paralysis, and some have life long difficulties.

Here’s a story about a young woman named Stephanie Smith who is permanently paralyzed after eating a tainted hamburger: huffingtonpost.com/2009/10/03/e-coli-woman-paralyzed-af_n_308871.html

Are you saying bigfootbob doesn’t care about children or everyone that disagrees with you doesn’t care about children?
Someday I’m going to try your strategy. Jump into a thread without reading the posts!

The topic is the Larry King Show which highlighted a group of parents whose children had died from eating tainted hamburger.

I would rather spend my time lobbying for a better cause such as pro-life etc.
Dead children–pro-life…isn’t it kind of the same thing? Shouldn’t we care about and protect ALL the children, or is it OK to pick and choose?

That would be the hamburger that you carry around in your pocket on your missionary trips to Africa??? No, I would give the child the food that the relief/aid group brought for the purpose of feeding the children. I’m sure that they would have seen to the safety of the food brought for the trip. The hamburger in your pocket would not have been kept at the correct temperature and would cause the child to become ill.

It isn’t a strategy, I just don’t have time to sit around playing on the computer all day. Have you ever started a thread about the evils of abortion? How about one encouraging people to help starving kids in Africa, or India (they don’t eat meat there do they)? How about a thread praying for abused kids? I guess animal are more important. 🤷

It was a hypothetical question and your lack of seriousness belies the fact that it is no use discussing anything further.

Interesting, I found ***your lack ***of seriousness to be disrespectful to our discussion here.

This thread is about children that died. We are discussing the problems in the industry that create the scenario which allows this to occur.

There really is no discussion here.

People are trying to discuss but you keep bringing up the same things over and over.

For example…
**What’s more important than a child’s life? **Ask the parents in the video whose children died, what cause is more important than their child’s life.

What cause would you offer your child’s life up for???
I have yet to see anyone say that nothing is more important than a child’s life.

It just seems you disagree with how others think this should be handled and you ascribe to those opinions that they do not care about a child’s life.

You are making a straw man argument. You are saying that those who disagree with your solution do not care about the lives of children. You are wrong.

Apperently you did not read my post:
