Abortion is legal in Saudi Arabia too*, but that is not really germane to this thread.

*Under article 24 of the Rules of Implementation for Regulations of the Practice of Medicine and Dentistry, Ministerial Resolution No. 218/17/L of 26 June 1989, an abortion may be performed to save the pregnant woman’s life, and if the pregnancy is less than four months old and it is proven beyond doubt that continued pregnancy gravely endangers the mother’s health.

We were highlighting the hypocrisy of finger pointing, when millions have died by abortion in so-called civilized countries.
Trying to invalidate our arguments by pointing out that abortion is legal in far too many countries doesn’t make any sense. Who is it that is desperately fighting abortion in those countries? Christians! And who is it that supports abortion in those countries? The same secular liberals who defend Islam and all its atrocities.

When a baby is aborted, it is murder, not execution. When an “infidel” is killed for being in Mecca, it is murder, not execution. And Christians are equally horrified by both. Christians don’t pick and choose which innocents they try to protect. If we did, THEN we would be hypocrites.

If you want to talk about the evils of abortion, start a new thread and I will be more than happy to join you. THIS thread is about Muslims murdering innocent people for not being Muslim. Stop trying to change the subject.

Yeah ! liberal Christians.

Doesn’t matter how you word it or butter it up, a baby dies.

Some of the people that are pro-choice but see beheading someone as horrifying, then I’d say those people are hypocrites, if your not one of them then it doesn’t apply to you.

Not trying to change the subject, just pointing out the hypocrisy, so go back to your discussion…enjoy.

Yeah ! liberal Christians.
Have I somehow misread my own post? I’m pretty sure that I specified “secular” liberals… Lemme check… Yep, I did, would ya look at that! Golly! Christian liberals are a whole other infuriating ball of wax, fit for a thread of their own.

The wording is of supreme importance. That’s the whole point! The aforementioned secular liberals REFUSE to acknowledge that abortion is murder. One of the most potent tactics in Satan’s playbook is to strip something horrible of its meaning, so it no longer looks so horrible. Or, for that matter, trying to compare it to something else horrible in an effort to make it look less horrible by comparison. And as for these third-party hypocrites you keep mentioning, how exactly does that affect this conversation? If we’re discussing car accidents and how horrible they are, and someone comes along and tells us that we’re hypocrites because we aren’t mentioning train wrecks, are you going to take them seriously? If a hypocrite shows their face around here, point them out and I will help you flog them myself. But until then, leave them out of it.

Um, when you bring up a subject that was not previously being discussed and has little bearing on the current topic, and try to focus attention on it, that’s typically referred to as “changing the subject”. Abortion = Bad. So far I haven’t seen anyone here arguing otherwise. Let’s stick to the topic mentioned in the title of the thread, shall we?
