Medal of Saint Benedict Blessing

I e-mailed the parish secretary, and she said “You might want to
choose after Mass as he does a very nice blessing which you might like to see.”

Would the Priest have to go find the prayer to say during the Blessing? I know that the Church has given a specific prayer to use when blessing the medal of St. Benedict.
