Medal

[Faith1960]

Does anyone know if there are any medals that have just saint Dymphna potrayed on them without Satan lurking in the background? I have her medal but when I noticed Satan I avoided it. She was supposedly very pretty and good but Satan on the medal just creeps me out.

I will look around for you…
in the meanwhile…it’s depicted that way because she a victim of sexual desire by her father. He sought someone who resembled her late mother…horrible, plainly demonic…when she fled from him, he murdered her.
I guess the person who designed it felt that showing that she can work on a persons behalf to thwart the devil was important.
But your reluctance to wear a depiction of Satan is surely understandable. I wouldn’t either.
Let me look around…there must be plenty…
Peace

I looked online last night. Apparently I didn’t look very hard. Thanks. Im not buying one now but when I do, I’ll buy it online without Satan. The one I have with him on there creeps me out.
