Dr. Angela Lanfranchi has an article in the Journal of American Physicians and Surgeons. Again the concern for every woman, regardless of her viewpoint on abortion, should be one of the paramount importance of informed consent. She wrote:[sign]Both the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the National Cancer Institute (NCI), a component of the NIH, have violated their mission statements…There is evidence of widespread fraud in connection with NIH-funded research…More alarmingly, NIH proved to be a corrupting influence (on scientists)…" [/sign]

At the bottom of this article at the Coalition for Abortion and Breast Cancer website you will find a link to the original article in pdf. It is clear and direct enough for any average reader to easily understand.

Abortion on demand is the center-piece of the modern feminist movement. Because of this, no one will entertain the idea that it may be as nearly harmful to the mother as it is to her child.

It is called “intellectual dishonesty”.

It is also called “lying to oneself” and “shameful”.

That is a phrase I like to use too: intellectual dishonesty. Some people are prepared to twist their thinking into pretzels in order to contort and obfuscate the truth. Any average person who seriously reads the bountiful literature that is readily available can only conclude abortion is an unhealthy choice for women and for some it will be deadly.

It brings new meaning to the adage "When you harm the child you harm the mother."
