Hello Friends,
I was just hoping for some prayer to resolve a situation. My family owns a medium sized warehouse in Illinois, we have been fixing it up, and are looking for a tenant.

Recently, a medical marijuana growing company has approached us to rent it. My parents don’t agree with it, and gave them a price double what it is worth, and assumed that would be the end of it. The marijauna people still want it, because they don’t have time to find another place before their proposal is due for the government. Illinois is awarding 1 growing permit in each police district, and companies compete with each other to achieve the permit. There are at least 3 in our district competing for the permit. My parents are having a hard time turning down the money, but will not be faced with this temptation if another company gets the contract. Please pray that another company, other than the one interested in my parents building gets the permit. I don’t want my family associated with this stuff. Thanks in advance and God Bless!

I am confused…after all the proven benefits of medical marijuana why does anyone have a problem with it being grown? The pharmaceutical companies reduce the THC (the active cannaboid that produces a 'high)…and as Matthew said:
Matthew 15:11

It is not what goes into the mouth that defiles a person, but what comes out of the mouth; this defiles a person.”
