If the perfomens as theater, there should not be traumas, and if there is a real competition , then the fights are similar to the real battle for the survival of the fittest. Although, must be an appropriate protection and precaution from injuries.

Yet these battles remind us of an era when the good was defended and asserted with force.
The era when the knight prayed over the sword, when the leaders promised in prayer “Let the Divine will be for you above human”
When the Catholic States believed in the value of physical life lies primarily in the fact that its goal is to obtain the eternal life.
When people believed that without weapons and without building military skill people just tempting God.
An era when there was an existential need to defend oneself.
There is something majestic in this sport. It seems to me that among the people involved in it, as well as in the army there are the interesting personalities.

😁
I found this sport an interesting hobby in combination with spiritual life.
I had once mention the fact that the power sports can cure spiritual ills.
There are many spiritual/mental weaknesses in a person that are cured through certain activities.😁

Remembered from Shakespeare:

“Every subject’s duty is the King’s; but every subject’s soul is his own. Therefore, should every soldier in the wars do as every sick man in his bed, wash every mote out of his conscience; and dying so, death is to him advantage; or not dying, the time was blessedly lost wherein such preparation was gained; and in him that escapes, it were no sin to think that, making God so free an offer, He let him outlive the day to see His greatness and to teach others how they should prepare.”

😁🤺👍

Just reminded…“Тhe Siege of Jerusalem”
War is definitely an absolute evil, BUT-
Sometimes I think that many souls through military prowess gained a lot of valuable qualities that they would never have acquired in peacetime.
And some warriors would never be honored рaradise in peacetime, for peacetime often makes people indifferent to spirituality, to fatherland, to valor, to holiness, to sacrifice, to understanding that the temporary life is only a brief moment.
