Medjugorie is there for you, to help you and to give you time out and peace, but more-so to help you realise how to live your life.

Your life is short and so is the grace of Medjogorie. Find out balanced opinions of Medjugorie and do not close your mind to the subject because the church has not concluded its work. The church cannot do so until the alleged apparitions have stopped.

Everything is equal before God. Pray for guidance on Medjugorie with an open heart.

Well, our Lady’s been talking daily for a good 25 years now to the alleged seers there, which is positively verbal diarrhea by the standards of past, approved apparitions.

We can see the graces of Lourdes are still pouring out over 150 years later like the waters of the spring there. Likewise with Fatima which is over 90 years ago now. So rest assured, if genuine, Medj’s graces will continue for generations to come even if the apparitions stopped tomorrow.

This is not an approved apparition of the Church. You do not need to pray for guidance on this…the Church has already done this for you. Be obedient.

Your profile says Christian but you don’t say if you are a Catholic Christian or not. If you are not Catholic then you may not know the approval procedure for apparitions, visions, messages, stigmata etc.
Such things must be investigated by the local Bishop. If the local bishop gives approval that does not mean the mesages etc are Church approved it simply means any “evidence” goes forward to the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith (CDF) in Rome who would then do their own investigation and come to a decision (approval or not).
However, if it is not approved at local level then that’s the end of the line. It is not approved and does not go to Rome for a decision.

This is the case with Medjugorie. Three Bishops Commissions have declared and documented that there is no evidence of anything supernatural happening and they went further to declare the visionaries are fake so that is the status. Nothing for Rome to do.

Furthermore some local Franciscans there still try to perpetuate these vsions (apparitions.org) despite the ruling and have had faculties suspended. They are not allowed to say mass or hear Confession as they are being disobedient to the Church.

Also Pope Benedict XVI, while he was still Cardinal Ratzinger, called Medjugorie a hoax.

A simple test of genuineness is whether any apparitions etc unites the faithful or divides them. Medjugorie has been highly devisive and that is something that comes from Satan and not God.

Your life is an individual conversion to God, the church does not replace your interaction with God.

Remember the church has not concluded on Medjugorie so I would not be eager to slander it.

The local bishop and his personal feelings on Medjugorie are entirely that, personal feelings. In fact the bishop supported the children initially until they told him that Our Lady had mentioned in favour, one of the Franciscan priests, at which point he most likely took offence.

I can niether confirm or deny what the current Pope has said. There are however some very interesting stories regarding Pope John Paul II and Medjugorie.
