Yes as if this name were merely coincidence. The Hollywood elite must think we are all knuckle dragging idiots that don’t ‘get it.’ Is the movie full of jokes about bathroom activities and belching? The whole thing is unbelievably juvenile.

FWIW I wouldn’t see ANY movie featuring Barbra. It’s the least I can do to combat her inane statements on foreign policy.

Well DUH its not coincidental lol. Its the whole joke. They acknowledge it. Theyre not trying to trick you, its supposed to sound like the obscenity!

I LOVED Meet the Parents! Its not dumb humor, its one of the funniest, cleverest movies ive ever seen! Everyone I know loves it, including my parents! Meet the Fockers was a little gross and not as good, but still funny. But I dont see how anyone couldnt like the dinner table thing in meet the parents!

I didnt realize how many Catholic “Fundies” are on this board.

Note taking for the Fockers movie… whatever…

May the day NEVER come that every movie is nothing but holiness and values …not a world I wanna live in.

I like uplifting moral value film…but I also love low brow humor and sexual inuendo… I have adjusted to the fact that people in the world masturbate…gee so do I sometimes… I have no problem laughing at such things. More power to ya if you do.
With all due respect, You (and a few others) miss the point. That point being:

Meet the Fockers MOST DEFINATELY IS a raunchy movie. Hollywood rated it PG-13, which put the notion out there that it’s appropriate for a 13 year old. Unless you feel a thirteen year old will be positively affected or at the least unaffected by this trash, you would call it what it is.

Whether or not an adult may or may not wish to see this film is another subject entirely. We all have our preferences. I respectfully submit to you that what we put into our minds as a matter of course will manifest itself in our actions over time.

Lastly, shroudman, you may want to talk to a priest about your casual views on masturbation. I’m not trying to be confrontational when I tell you it’s a dangerous attitude to take with an action the Catechism calls “grave”.

God Bless

In my world Fockers is funny and not raunchy at all…

as for my casual view on Masturbation… its the most commonly committed sexual sin, and yeah, I know its grave, and I am also aware that it should be avoided…but I am also a human being in the flesh and when I fall with this sin, I no longer get guilt ridden and worked up…oh well…I fell… now its off to confession… I said it before, if people were perfect there would be no Confessionals… though I believe masturbation is a sin to be confessed and avoided as much and as long as possible, people fall, I fall, etc… its just not on my radar of things as gravely committed such as lack of love for neighbor, abortion, murder, etc…if thats casual then so be it. I still confess it and at my age mid 30s, I’m realistic that I will be dealing with this particular sin til I die. I aint getting freaked out about it anymore thats all.
