Mega Church Brand of Fundamentalism

Yes I did, if you noticed I was just commenting on your use of Benny Hinn, (so many tend to relate mega-churches with tel-evangelist). If you noticed, I think I expanded on your idea of not having a blanket judgement of mega churches as you expressed in your first paragraph in my comments to **bpbasilphx.🤷 **

I appoligize if I did it poorly and you thought I was being critical of you.:o
 
If size is the criteria for megachurch, then our parish would come close to qualifying–seven thousand (7000) parishioners. I think that we are the second-largest church in town, right after the megachurch.

Seems to me we have too much free time, mostly because we have too few kids to keep our time occupied.

For parents, mega-churches are able to offer a more desirable time filler for their 2.1 kids than society offers.

Heck- even one of our local Catholic churches is considered a mega-church.

There are 2100 families in my parish, which would qualify as “mega-church”. 😉
