Do not undermine them? I think you mean underestimate. I would have thought that undermining Islam would be your plan. Some islamic clerics say it just as certain priests and preachers batted for the Nazis. It is an over simplification of the philosophy of the second largest faith on the planet. Muslims don’t want us dead and many pray for our souls as we should pray for theirs. Some psychopaths and disillusioned young men who happen to profess the Islamic faith say they want us dead without truly understanding the gravity of their statements.

yea i thought it means the same thing.

Anyway, one only needs to look at Muslim countries which were Christian countries first and see the conditions of Christians in them. It’s either kill/wage wars to conquest, or conquest by breeding and establishing Islamic sharia with time.
 
LDN, today I read in your papers that a British soldier wounded and in the hospital had been harassed by a Muslim visiting the ward. I think you underestimate the potential for violence. How many times do they need to commit terrorist acts before you get nervous? Just last week they were outside Westminister Cathedral calling for the Pope’s death.

nobody is talking about Muslims wanting us dead. They want the Islamization of the West as they did in other countries. Wherever they go, they want it their way. When they are dominant, no one can stop them from forcing Islamic Laws…did you even read the article i posted??
 
Cestusdei- I didn’t read that, but he was harassed by A muslim, not the muslims. 30 years ago-had i been alive i probably would have harassed them too, being Irish. Nervous? Hardly. There was only a hundred or so outside Westminster Cathedral. Again, radicals, not even close to the opinion of the majority of muslims in the UK, most of which werent concerned with the pope’s words at all.

inJesus- what article? all i could see was a protest against a mosque from an anti islamic group, signed by people who admitted their dislike for Islam. If there was something more to that I couldn’t find it.

well in SA you dont even become a citizen even if you lived there all your life…that’s why SA is 100% muslim . Christians in Irak are dying out due to persecusion…and the list goes on…yet Saudi men are building mosques wherever they go…

IT IS EXACTLY THIS FREEDOM that Muslims are taking advantage of ! once they use this offered freedom, they become the boss and you have to accept. Learn from us who live in the Middle East!! WAKE UP.

When the “religion” in question is against freedom of religion in the first place, things become different. You can’t deny basic human rights for all people, because of the wishes of a single cult.

So now building a mosque in London is a denial of basic human rights for all people?
 
grant religious freedom to Hindu, Buddhist, ecc. but Islam IS DIFFERENT…islam is not only a “religion”, it’s a way of life that will be imposed on you whether you like it or not. Am not being prejudiced, i live it !!

well forget it…am trying to make you see the whole picture and all you arelooking at are single individuals or single mosques. Once you live like us in the Muslim majority countries, only then will you understand what i was talking about…but it’ll be too late…

You asked for honest opinion and i gave it. I don’t care what the majority religion in this country is. If Islam comes to rule, so be it, and if they try to force conversion then God willing I’ll have the strength of faith to die for my beliefs. Until some tyranny comes to rule me, I will continue to treat every person i meet the same regardless of their intentions towards me, out of interest wherebouts in the middle east are you? are you military?
 
How does not wanting that mega mosque (i.e. one mosque) being built at that particular location constitute fascism?

LDN, surely you remember the recent terrorist attacks and the attempts at hijacking? I saw radical Muslims when visiting England. If these things were rare you would be right. But you have seen the riots and violence. Don’t wait till it is to late and think that all will be well. By the time you realize it has gone to far you will be a dhimmi in your own country.
 
I remember them, but again, they are not the majority of muslims. They are a minority. A radical minority like the nutters standing in Hyde Park ‘‘preaching’’ the Gospel. Yes they are a dangerous element and yes they need to be controlled, however a city with a large number of practicing Muslims nedds a large number of mosques to accomodate for that group. I in no way condone terrorism but I’m just saying that society seems to need a group to hate. Before it was the Irish, drunken illiterate Pope worshipping terrorist S.O.Bs that we are, and the blacks, mugging little old ladies and dealing drugs, now its the muslims. Once again a group has found themselves the target of suspicion because of the actions of a minority. I do however understand and respect the points you are all making.
