So sad to hear… I read this earlier today and have kept him and his loved ones in my prayers today.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord,
and may perpetual light shine upon him.
May his soul and the souls
of all the faithful departed
through the Mercy of God,
rest in peace
Amen.
 
My heart is heavy…I just heard of the passing of our dear Mr. Zoom.

I will miss you ! My prayers for you and for your loved ones . One day…

This forum is a big part of most of our lives. Seeing how many members, myself included spend so much time here on a daily basis. You recognize many members by their avatar. MrZoom had such an avatar. He will be missed here on CAF. God speed MrZoom!

That’s very kind of you, Tis.

I think we should all have someone in real life or online that would let everyone know if something happened to us, with instructions of where to post and perhaps what we want said. There have been a few people over the years that just disappeared and I suspect something may have happened to them. (Old CAF, so, nothing to do with not making the jump to new CAF.)
 
He had posted a photo in Casual ,“photos you would like to share “ ,a nice smiley photo .Just 49 ,but I think he touched many lives .Pretty active on several websites too.
All this prayer is a wonderful gift for him.
 
Yes, I saw that photo too. He looked so happy enjoying his dance and said that he thought it was a good one of him. There’s another on his profile page. Also read a recent thread about where you would like to vacation since in this COVID environment many of us can’t and Mr. Zoom posted he was looking forward to visiting upstate NY for his 50th birthday this October. I don’t know what his destination in NY would have been but the Catskills are my old stomping grounds. Used to hike “them hills” with my boyfriend/husband. In October it is a beautiful riot of fall colors. My brother still lives there and I may ask him to collect a few leaves to send to me. If he does and I get them in time, I’ll try to post a pix in his memory. 49 is young but even with being in a w/c, it seemed like he led a full and active life. Inspiration to us all.
 
I am sorry to hear that Mr Zoom has left this world.
My sincere condolences to his family.

We must remember that death is part of this first life and that we will meet again in the next, maybe face to face!

After hearing about your passing…I found I could not stay on the forum yesterday…other than reading the prayers and tributes to Mr.Zoom…Mark 121359 said it all. We all get to know one another through this forum…My heart is hurting as well are yours for a gentle soul who came into our lives and as quickly Zoomed out [ excuse the pun ] God Bless you…I will remember you in my prayers. as well as your family…be at peace in the arms of Jesus.

Oh wow, I did not know he lived so close to my area. If I were home, I might have considered going to his funeral, but I am currently 7 hours away.

Thank you for posting his Obituary, I had not been able to find it. I have found it fun and interesting to look at his old posts, I invite others to do the same.
 
I hope his family will come check them out on CAF as well and see how much he was loved and will be missed.
