I am wondering why she doesn’t sit down with her parish priest and discuss all of this.?!
It can be very dangerous too as many protestant denominations are looking to “save” us poor Catholics and bringing us away from that “evil” Catholic Church.
This happens so much. A good friend of mine did what the OP did by attending mass and evangelical services. She was so on fire, but was convinced since were all Christian that it was okay to go to Christian services. Now all she does is go to evangelical services. Fortunately she isn’t anti catholic, but has fallen into the trap of how everyone should follow Jesus no matter the religion. I think this is how the evangelicals got to her.
The OP’s friend, you mean. This happens so much. A good friend of mine did what the OP did by attending mass and evangelical services.
Therefore you are saying that there are no Catholics who are also Masons?thank you for pointing that out. drives me nuts when someone says mass when talking about another church service.
and people will prolly throw rocks at me for saying this, but you can’t have it both ways. can’t be Protestant AND Catholic. Just like you can’t be a Mason & Catholic. Don’t get me started on Native American traditions and prayers within Mass.![]()
I don’t think that MissBorgia is stating that in her statement, but talking about the Church’s position on Freemasonry. See this link I found on another thread if you are interested why MissBorgia wrote what she wrote. Therefore you are saying that there are no Catholics who are also Masons?
