Posed this question in “The Water Cooler” to no avail. Hoping the Liturgy & Sacraments crowd will be able to give me some advice. Family and I will be moving to Millington, Tennessee. Looking for a “GIRM abiding”, orthodox parish in the area. TLM of course would make it even better. Thanks for the help.

That’s one place that my son visited last summer. Maybe I will get there someday soon. All I know is he never ate so well! Pray and the answer will come to you. I’ll pray you meet some wonderful Catholic neighbors who will invite you to their church.

That is my Parish:) We do not have the TLM but we are what I would consider a good parish. Our Pastor let us give out the voters guide before the Bishop banned them:( He took a lot of slack but he is true to the faith.

I live in Memphis and I attend Our Lady of Sorrows. There is a Catholic church in Millington (St. William), but I’ve never been there. The main street in Millington is Hwy 51 and Our Lady of Sorrows is just south (approx 10 miles) of Millington on Hwy 51. We don’t have any Latin Masses. I’ve attended this church my whole life, so I guess I’m partial. I think it’s a beautiful church, but it’s not grand or fancy - we’re in sort of a poor part of town now. I grew up there, but moved away and I don’t like my neighborhood parish. I feel like our preist sticks to the rules more than some others. I suggest maybe you church shop a little and find the one you like the best. OLS is the closest outside of Millington, but if you’re willing to drive a while, there are plenty of others. Hope this is helpful.
