Mother Mary, St. Anne, St. Joseph, please intercede on behalf of adbrides. Please provide comfort and healing for her spirit so that she can endure these trials and get the necessary rest she needs. Please ask our Lord to ensure she has people in her life that can provide her support and to guide the mediator to bring this situation to resolution. Please ask the Lord send angels to watch over her son and keep him safe from all harm when he is with his father. Please ask the Lord to pour out his grace on this situation and to heal the children’s father of his wounds and other addictions so that he can learn to be a good father for his child. Amen.

I really want to thank all of you who have continued to pray for me through my ordeal. This has been one of the most scariest and toughest things I have went through. I am watching my son’s father deteriorate (thankfully for my children’s sake) from a safe distance. Unfortunately, my eight year old son doesn’t understand what is going on, yet he manages to remain resilient and playful. I have had to limit his exposure to his father in the last month because of the knowledge I have had through mutual friends of drug abuse and what he is slowly but surely doing to him. Since Feb. of this year, it has ended a 11 yr. relationship (however we have known each other since I was 11 yrs. old and I am now 34yrs. old). It has cost him access to his son, and as of this evening he was let go from a job that he has had for 2 yrs. in which he started at the bottom and had moved himself up to a supervisory position in just 6 months. WOW, what a powerful evil crack cocaine is. Dear God, the reflection is almost too painful to think about sometimes. Last year at this time we were coaching our son’s tee ball team, spending long lazy weekends on the lake boating and fishing…dreaming of future days like that…Now in 3 months I have had to file for emergency custody, had to deal with child welfare, and refuse my son access to his father for his own safety and wellbeing. UNREAL, guys, UNREAL, I am waiting to wake up from this nightmare. I prayed that he would see Jesus, hear Jesus, feel Jesus…no more than I made that prayer a few weeks ago…all has come tumbling down around him…I prayed that if it HIS WILL to bring him to his knees for him to SEE. I have watched a prayer being answered and it was not easy to watch and I have been watching from a distance. Prayerfully, he will surrender to what he knows the truth is. He has been taught the truth, I made sure I shared during our time together. He cannot deny that the option was not placed before him long before the drugs took over. Dear God, Thank you for all that you do. Dear Friends and Prayer Warriors, your thoughts and prayers are a blessing for me and my family and I want to say thank you kindly for your prayers. :o
