If I go to Christmas Eve Mass, does that count for the Christmas obligation?

Of course! Why do you think parishes offer several Masses on Christmas eve along with Masses on Christmas day? This is the same principle as going on Saturday evening. You can attend Mass on the day itself or the evening before.

If I go to Mass tonight at 7:30, does that cover my obligation for tomorrow or do I have to go tomorrow as well?

You can attend Mass on the day of the obligation or the evening before. Your Christmas eve Mass meets the obligation just as a Saturday evening Mass meets the Sunday obligation. Why would parishes offer a plethora of Masses on Christmas eve if they didn’t meet the obligation?

The true reasons for Vigil Masses long predate their adaptation as obligation options.
