Because that’s how HE wanted it…it’s HIS “soap” HE does as HE wants and as it is written. I just tell you what the Bible says.
God
is love. Remember, the Bible says that there are mysteries that would be revealed and
that will be revealed in HIS time. Jesus of Nazareth told his disciples there were things he couldn’t tell them…therefore, it wasn’t the time. And he also told them “when the Son of Man comes…will he find faith?” He wasn’t the Son of Man…he was giving hints of HIS (God’s) second coming.
As a matter of fact, why would HE permit everything before the cross and then come to free us of all of it? Wouldn’t it have been simpler to have avoided all that and NOT have to clean it up? Since HE is ALMIGHTY, it could’ve been that way but it’s the way HE wanted it.
Which reiterates, that the Bible states there are mysteries that would be revealed.

So let’s reiterate God’s divine plan…
When Jesus Christ stated:
“'But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you. 'And He, when He comes, will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment;…” - John 16:7-8
He was only kidding, right? Because there is no more sin, right?
Then, when Jesus Christ stated:
“‘But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into
all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come.’” - John 16:13
He really meant to say:
Okay guys, for 2,000 years after I ascend into Heaven, you guys will be led into falsehood and I won’t give a rip. You’ll believe a bunch of lies and follow Scripture that was good just for society sake. Then, in 2,000 years after you and many of your ancestors have died not having a clue what I meant, I will reincarnate myself as a Puerto Rican dude iced up in gold chains and rings like Mr. T. I will then state that only Paul’s writings are legit and you guys are morons and false. I will then start many protests against people that taught what I said, and have people believe there is no hell, even though I said there is hell many many times.
It makes so much sense now, how could we not know this?? Silly Ole’ Catholics…
