For those of you (Catholics) who don’t subscribe to John Martignoni’s “Apologetics for the Masses” Newsletter, you really need to check this issue out.

"Apologetics for the Masses" - Issue #24
Code: 
John started an e-mail exchange with someone who runs a website specifically designed to bring Catholics out of the Church.
The ant-Catholic, Dr. Mizzi’s, reply to John’s challenge and questions is laughable. Instead of an intelligent, thoughtful and thorough response, Dr. Mizzi literally insults John.
John tried writing the good doctor again, but so far, his email has been ignored. Hmmm… I wonder why.

Three cheers for John!! He has been so helpful in teaching Catholics about their faith.

Don’t know where the American Church would be without him.

AMEN to that, Brother! I have to admit; I got a chuckle out of Mizzi’s *scholarly *“come-back”, myself. Is that all the man could come up with?

yup. I get his newsletter too. Five examples merits a one word reply? I didn’t bother to go to Dr. Mizzi’s site. I figured I would just get annoyed. It took everything I had just to pray for this man. I pray he finds a more productive way to show his love of Jesus.

That’s exactly why I didn’t go to his site. Mizzi’s not worth the aggravation.

Yes, it made me laugh too. But I guess I should of been upset at how that man acted.

Although, did anyone try and check the “doctors” website? It appears to of been taken down, or at least exceded the bandwith.

Dr. Joe Mizzi, who runs an anti-Catholic Website, blocks John Martignoni’s E-mails.
He accuses John of flooding him with “Trick Questions”. (FYI: John only asked him “two” questions) Not much of a “flood”, in my eyes.

This is not surprising. I went a few rounds with Joe about a year ago and he blocked me too after he could not rubut the facts I presented. Yet Joe keeps on churning out the trash.
 
Mizzi is a coward. You should see how he abruptly ended our e-mail conversations. I’m even an apologetic amatuer no less!

That’s a good question Mommyof02green. I wouldn’t doubt many did.
As far as this issue – Well, since Mizzi blocked John’s E-mail from both his accounts, I expect many will forward this one to him.

Mizzi refuses to allow John to ask him questions and respond to him, directly so I believe it’s John’s hope that this issue will be forwarded to the good doctor.

Apparently, the man can’t deal with Catholics who truly know their Faith.
Seems like he counts on and ***thrives ***on poorly catechised Catholics.

Catholics, ignorant of the Church’s Teachings, are easy prey for men like this.

I try to educate my family and friends to the best of my ability so they will not fall victim to anti-Catholics and anti-Catholic propaganda, whose main agenda, is to get Catholics out of the One True Church at any cost. Even to the point of misrepresenting the Church’s Teachings or outright lying.

Sadly, I think Cafeteria Catholics are ripe for the picking.
I try to get to them before people like Mizzi gets hold of them.
Once that happens, it’s that much harder for them to accept the True teachings of the Church.

I agree with you, Mizzi’s actions are cowardly. He wouldn’t stand a chance in a verbal debate with an informed Catholic, let alone an Apologist.
