Hi everyone,
I found a webpage that briefly discussed some of the things that the Blessed Virgin Mary spoke at Fatima.
Coming from a protestant background, I’m having a bit of a hard time with these messages.
Don’t you think that they are a little too centered on Mary?
I mean, I know everyone says that her ultimate goal is to glorify Jesus.
Here’s the link: rosary-center.org/fatima.htm
Here’s a few quotes from the page discussing Fatima:
I understand the whole idea of praying through Mary and the saints, but some of this stuff…like God placing peace in her hand that it is from her that we must ask for it, Jesus wishes to establish devotion to Mary and she promises salvation? And then the whole “in reparation for the offenses committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary”??? Shouldn’t that be “in reparation for the offenses committed against the perfection of GOD”??? Why doesn’t Jesus want us to establish a devotion to HIM? Or to GOD?
Usually I like the Marian apparitions, but these seem a little…out there.
I hope this makes sense. Can anyone help me out on this?

Pray the Rosary every day in honor of Our Lady of the Rosary to obtain peace in the world . . . for she alone can save it.
God has placed peace in her hands, and it is from the Immaculate Heart that men must ask it.
Jesus wishes to establish devotion to my Immaculate Heart in the world. I promise salvation to those who embrace it.
I don’t know…these seem a little too Mary-centered.Sacrifice yourselves for sinners and say often whenever you make a sacrifice: ‘O Jesus, it is for love of You, for the conversion of sinners, and in reparation for the offenses committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary.’ "
