For any Orthodox, Eastern Catholics, and Roman Catholics that are interested and live in the Norther Virginia/D.C. area, Metropolitan Kallistos Ware is going to be in town for nearly two weeks giving lectures at several Orthodox and Eastern Catholic parishes in the area (as well as one at a parish in New Jersey). I highly, highly, (did I mention highly?) encourage anyone able to hear +Kallistos to do so. Hearing him and speaking to him in person was an incredible experience, and his “Orthodox Way” is certainly one of my ten favorite all-time books.
 
Diak, have you ever read his “Inner Kingdom”? I think I enjoyed that even more than “Orthodox Way” (if that’s even possible). We have a video series called “Mystical Theology” that serves as a wonderful accompaniment to “Inner Kingdom.” 🙂

I’m very much looking forward to his visit, especially since I’m probably going to be spending a lot of one-on-one time with him!😃
