This is an interesting story from WW2 that I was not aware of.

I didn’t realize American POWs who were Jews or ‘undesirable’ where shipped off to concentration camps, away from other POWs

We don’t hear a lot about this in the States either because, as the articles explain, the government shushed it up. Who knows why, at this point.

I did vaguely hear in the past that Jewish-American POWs were treated worse or separated out, but didn’t know they also took other people who “looked Jewish” or were thought to be troublemakers. This poor Mexican-American guy seems to have gotten a whole lot of injustice from the US government.
