Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador has been warned: religious references are not welcome in politics in the Latin American country.
Mexico’s electoral court on September 6 ordered precautionary measures to stop the broadcast of a promotional video in which the center-left president explicitly refers to Pope Francis and the Gospel.
