A Michigan court decision that will extend the deadline for postmarked mail-in ballots to be received up to 14 days after Election Day will also allow ballots to be submitted by third parties — a practice called “ballot harvesting” — during a specific period.

As Breitbart News reported earlier Friday, Michigan Court of Claims Judge Cynthia Stephens ruled that mail-in ballots postmarked by November 2 — the day before Election Day — will still be counted in Michigan in the 2020 election.

In addition, Judge Stephens said that strangers can return other people’s ballots — normally a felony . . .

. . . The ruling means that anyone may return the ballot of another voter in that period of time, not just those specified by law (such as immediate family members). . .

. . . The judge did not limit the number of ballots that an individual may return for another person, nor did the judge impose an identification requirement or a background check of any kind. . . .

. . . “Ballot harvesting” was legalized in California in 2016, and first used in the 2018 midterm elections. It allows anyone to drop off someone else’s mail-in ballot at a polling station. There is no process for vetting or verifying those delivering the ballots. . .

Yes, this is terrible and might allow fraud. This kind of voting needs to be outlawed or severely limited.

We have in our neighborhood some sorts of signs, “No Voting Ranking”, I forget exactly what it says but something… and this mailman in our area who is always putting out signs for conservatives, has one of these signs in his yard, so I am probably against this.

So between early voting which has already started and allowing ballots to filter in for days even weeks after” Election Day”;,we may as well just allow voting 365 days during an election year.

This is the logical conclusion of setting limits, then breaking those limits.

Basically the national Democrats know Trump is going to steamroll Biden without cheating.

If the cheating takes, they can usurp the White House.

If the cheating gets rebuked, now there is another manufactured reason to cry “stolen election”, and a pretext for more widespread rioting (we have all seen the national and some regional Democrats seem to be good with violence, fires, looting, and mayhem . . . As long as it doesn’t spill over to THEM personally . . . Think “Summer of Love” for one obvious example.

SCOTUS is the reason I haven’t voted on Election Day since 2000 but since there is a local tax referendum this year, I just might break my own streak.
