I had high hopes of attending the conference but alas I could not. 😦

Do we have any first-hand reports? How was it?

Thanks!

I was there, attendance was announced at 800. The church and the volunteers did a great job. The speakers were interesting but I felt they needed twice the time or half the speakers, no one spoke for more then an hour. The best part IMHO was the presenters went into separate rooms for 2.5 hours for a question and answer period, we really had an opportunity to have any questions we had answered, and then following that there was a panel Q&A that went for another 2 hours and that was good as well. The Church itself is a very nice building that still has the high altar and altar rail intact.

Gary Michuta said he was so pleased that 800 were there (those are Corapi-type numbers).

Amazing huh, for a place out in the farmlands… but it was free with a free-will donation. And they fed 500 for lunch too.!!!

I sure wish Holy Spirit in Hamburg will get a pastor who will take advantage of the 37 acres to restart the summer conferences.

As an added note, the Parish will be putting together a CD set of the day’s lectures (excluding the Q&A session, I believe). Still not sure on the cost, but you can have the parish email you when it knows: office@stmarychurch.net

It looks like we may have a Yooper in the thread!

On the topic of the Westphalia Conference, if anyone is interested in hearing Roy Schoeman’s talk, it can be heard on his Website:

Then click on " Westphalia, Mich. “The Catholic Church: Judaism Fulfilled” 3-18-06 "
