again i ask, why a constitutional amendment for a science project?

A very fine question. How about, to limit future ‘science projects’ from buying embryos (Article 1, Section 27, 2c), to prevent future ‘science projects’ from creating and destroying embryos created for the purpose of the ‘science project’ (Article 1, Section 27, 2b) and to prevent future ‘science projects’ from destroying human life after it has begun to individualize? (Article 1, Section 27, 2a)

Please, please, please! See that this article is a positive piece of legislation for those who wish to protect life!

this science project does not protect life. sure it is just “using up” left over embryos. but the source of those embryos is flawed to begin with.

pro-cure is not pro-life when it destroys a life in the process.

Everyone reading this began life as an embryo: a unique combination of genes from the mother and father. This is a scientific fact. Ask any Embryologist.

The idea of using human embryo leftovers ignores the fact that they are human beings.

pro-cure is not pro-life when it destroys a life in the process.

Then fight the source. But this is not the source. This is how to make the best of the situation. If we can learn from those who died, then we may have a better chance to survive, ourselves.

If I were the departed soul of a human who died at the embryonic stage, I would at least hope my life could have been of some value to others, even if I never had a chance to fully develop.
