Something I’ve been struggling with is the issue of micro-praying and if it’s a bad thing.
My wife’s cousin (who is a Pentecostal), had an abortion two weeks ago. Not much is revealed, but it was a mother lives or the mother dies situation. She chose the former.
Anyways, we are friends on Facebook and last night she tagged both me, my wife, and all her friends to pray for her dog. It’s one of those teacup chihuahua’s. The dog wasn’t dead, just sick. She asked that we pray for the dog to get better and how she can’t live without the dog (this woman is 38 and married BTW).
I know prayer is good, but does micro-praying seem to take advantage of trivial things? This is the same woman if you ask if she wants to a soda drink, she has to pray and let the Lord decide for her.
Am I wrong?
