Mid week advent wreath lighting

Due to my work schedule, I work in healthcare, my husband and I were not able to eat Sunday dinner together. We did not light our Advent wreath. We are home together tonight. Is it OK to light it on days other than Sunday, or do I have to wait until next week?

You’re definitely not limited to lighting an Advent wreath on Sundays. You can light it every day! And now that we’re into the time of the “O Antiphons,” perhaps you’d like to include them with your prayers. See rc.net/wcc/antiphon.htm for more info.

We light our advent wreath every time we sit down to eat together–even at breakfast! I’m not saving the candles for anything, so why not burn them and remember the season.

actually you can light it every night of the week, you just add a new candle each Sun.
