Having lived and worked throughout the Middle East (eight countries) over 7 years, Christians are treated like other communities in these countries. So are Hindus, Jews (even in Iran), etc. The only place Christians do not get to be full citizenship with full voting rights, free movement (travel from town to town) is in Israel.

I’ve attended Mass in Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt and even Saudi Arabia and it was no different than anywhere else. The “news” would make it sound like Christians are treated badly, but that’s not the case at all.

Back to non-full citizenship in Israel for non-Jews, if you get a chance to read The Life of an American Jew in Racist Marxist Israel by Jack Bernstein, you’ll get a good read on that. As well as the fact that the terror campaigns that brought many Iraqi Jews (10’s of thousands) to Israel in the 1950’s and 1960’s was waged by Israel’s Stern Gang, Irgun and other terrorist organizations.

You must be confusing Israel proper with Samaria and Gaza, where travelling restrictions are in place, to prevent terrorists from entering Israel to blow up school busses, shopping malls, cafes, etc.
Christians who are Israeli citizens enjoy the same priviledges as Jewish Israelis.

Aha…So it is allowed for Christians to assemble for services in Saudi Arabia, despite what organizations like Open Doors say, and if a Saudi muslim comes to faith, he can freely convert?
By claiming this, you have lost all credibility.

And you can proof this, of course, with something else than wikipedia, or links to a hamas-supported conspiracy-nut -website?

There is only ONE country in the Middle East that guarantees freedom of religion in fact as well as in theory, and that is Israel. Israel is a beacon of light in a region engulfed in darkness, and if you had any idea of the plight of the Christians in the ME, you wouldn’t be spreading these lies.

Methinks you’re a muslim, masquerading (yeah typo - so sue me!) as a Christian to spread propaganda more efficiently. You obviously have no idea of the plight of Christians living as dhimmis in Arab countries.

Am Israel Chai!

Robert, Robert: where are you? This person’s questioning my credibility and that of my sons, my daughters and my wife, for they know these same things vis-a-vis the Middle East, Christians practicing their religion and israel being so open minded, it’s Ok for an IDF soldier to stomp on a crucifix, spit on it, then urinate on it, 'cause religion is so open in israel.

Born and raised and still Catholic, but I know our faith is much closer to Islam than to Judaism. But our news and “documentaries” on that “Irish-controlled” boob tube (methadone metronome) won’t cover that part.

Breed on, young brain-washed masses, breed on.

You cannot use ONE case like that as a basis for generalizations. The guy was either drunk (and people do stupid things in that state), or a particularly hateful person. Nothing you can use to say anything about Israel as a whole.

I seriously question your credibility, because what you claim go directly against what all organizations helping the persecuted Christians say.
Yes, there are problems in Israel. I never doubted that. But I maintain that Israel is the best country in the ME to be a Christian in. Israel guarantees freedom of religion to all citizens, and no citizen is denied any civil rights based on his or her religion. As opposed to the Arab states, where Christians (and Jews especially) are “tolerated”, at best.

BS. Rabbinical Judaism is the basis of our Faith. Christianity is the New Covenant, which replaced the Old Covenant.
Islam is a satanic invention - which has nothing to do with God at all.

i was wondering why under your name it shows suspended. now i know.👍
God bless.

I attend a Melkite parish.

I frequently hear about how people in the “old country” were murdered (martyred) because they refused to renounce Christianity for Islam.
