I had a wonderful Christmas. Not only do I have a job now, my son and husband came to a 5pm Saturday Mass with me, and my eldest daughter came to Midnight Mass with me. I had no idea it would be a high Mass, with Latin and incense. I was afraid that my daughter, a pop music, charismatic, evangelical Christian, wouldn’t like it, but she absolutely loved it. A wonderful Christmas present!

Nice to see the Spirit at work. Congrats, and may you have a wonderful new year.

Nice to see you posting.

Blessings,
Stephie

So glad you had some lovely Mass times with your family. On this Feast of the Holy Family, let us give thanks to God for nice families like yours. God bless.

As a 2015 Washington post writer put it when writing about attracting young people to church: " You can be dazzled by a light show at a concert on any given weekend, but church is the only place that fills a sanctuary with candlelight and hymns on Christmas Eve. "

I’ve been praying for my adult daughter (non Catholic, doesn’t attend church, attracted to Muslim faith.) She wanted to attend midnight Mass with me. She also loved it and has been asking questions. Pray for her. I told her this was the best Christmas present!
