Hi
I know this is late, but I keep forgetting to ask this. When I went to the morning Christmas mass, the priest used the readings and songs from the midnight vigil mass. He also combined the midnight and morning gospel readings. Is this allowed?

Liturgical Christmas day begins with the vigil. The (Ordinary Form) Lectionary (1998/2002) shows what is normal:

Christmas: Mass at Midnight - ABC
1st: Isa 9:1-6
Psalm Ps 96:1-2a, 2b-3, 11-12, 13
2nd: Titus 2:11-14
Alleluia: Luke 2:10-11
Gospel: Luke 2:1-14

Christmas: Mass at Dawn - ABC
1st: Isa 62:11-12
Psalm: Ps 97:1+6, 11-12
2nd: Titus 3:4-7
Alleluia: Luke 2:14
Gospel: Luke 2:15-20

Christmas: Mass during the Day - ABC
1st: Isa 52:7-10
Psalm: Ps 98:1, 2-3a, 3b-4, 5-6
2nd: Heb 1:1-6
Alleluia: (no bibl. ref.)
Gospel: John 1:1-18 or 1:1-5, 9-14

Any priest is allowed to say three Masses in Christmas day, without time limit. If he says only one Mass it has to be according to the time of the day, otherwise no such obligation.

This was the traditional rule, as far as I know it did not changed

I can’t help much in the area of the readings, but I would point out that there is nothing wrong with reusing the same songs for all the Masses of Christmas, unless you are referring to Gregorian propers, but I highly doubt you are referring to those.

I don’t know about combining Gospels but he is certainly allowed to use the Midnight Mass readings at the Day Mass or vice versa for pastoral reasons.

For the readings, it is not an abuse, as there is provision for Priests to use the readings from any of the 3 Masses on Christmas Day for the pastoral benefit of the people.

In the Lectionary approved for use in Australia, England and Wales, Ireland etc, there is a rubric just before the readings for Midnight Mass that says:
In Masses celebrated on Christmas Day, the readings given below are used, with the option of choosing more appropriate readings from any one of the three Masses, according to the pastoral needs of each celebration.
The Ordo published by the Holy See states similarly:
Quae lectiones possunt vicissim transmutari pro opportunitate.
