No matter.

Judging by how you spell words, I assume you are American?

I am a proud British New Zealander (2nd Generation).

I’m just saying, we in America know more about tea than the English, if you think about it.

Arizona Iced Tea, man. It’s endorsed by Arnold Palmer which is basically the same as a royal warrant, I guess.

I often think that the disagreements between Catholics and Protestants are terribly awful. Can us Catholics really argue this much about tea and television? It is quite funny. We are united as members of Christ’s Church, and whether we are American or British does not matter.

Very amusing our petty disagreements.

Oh, I’m not upset or anything. I just think if the queen could get razzleberry in her tea, she’d be drinking it.

’‘I love the English soap opera Coronation Street. Most of the characters have been practicing homosexuals and even abortion is promoted as “acceptable” and “normal”.’'

in the last 10 years of the soap, about 7 of the almost 100 regular characters are homosexual in the soap and only 3 characters have had an abortion in that same timespan.

Its really a rather silly thing to say that ‘most’ the characters are homosexual. In real life circumstances in Manchester, you’ll be passing far more homosexuals and women who have had abortions in your average week than you would do in fictional soap opera Manchester.

I have seen the whole series. I was sorry when it ended. Have you seen Foil’s War? It is even better.

No there is no problem with watching murder mysteries.

Pax Christi:

I am, and always have been, a fan of the English television programme “Midsomer Murders”. It idealises the traditional view of English country life. I have the entire DVD set, and it is broadcast regularly where I live (New Zealand). I believe it is broadcast on certain American pay television channels.
I think it’s shown on PBS (the ‘Public Broadcasting Service’) here in the US, which is the opposite of a pay channel.

@Autumn-Smoke you might like ‘Happy Valley’ too then (if you’re not familiar with it). It’s a bit graphic at times though.

No, you are wrong. Her Majesty would be disgusted by such tea.
I dunno, man, I feel like the English drink their tea all wrong. It needs to be cold and come from a can. There is a satisfaction that comes popping it open I think she’d dig.
