Midterm Exams Approaching

Hi everyone,

My classmates and I will be taking midterm exams in the coming weeks. These next couple weeks usually get pretty stressful and overwhelming.

I would like to ask for prayers that God Blesses us with the wisdom and knowledge to perform well on these exams. I ask for prayers that we receive great grades, but more importantly that we are able to retain and apply all the information learned towards others so that we may all serve God.

Come, Holy Spirit, Divine Creator, true source of light and fountain of wisdom! Pour forth your brilliance upon my dense intellect, dissipate the darkness which covers me, that of sin and of ignorance. Grant me a penetrating mind to understand, a retentive memory, method and ease in learning, the lucidity to comprehend, and abundant grace in expressing myself. Guide the beginning of my work, direct its progress, and bring it to successful completion. This I ask through Jesus Christ, true God and true man, living and reigning with You and the Father, forever and ever.

Prayer for Test-Takers

Dear Holy Spirit, giver of wisdom:
Please assist us in our examinations. Help us
face them with courage, steady in nerves and
keen in mind. Help us to understand the questions,
to recall all that we have studied, and to express
our answers accurately. We make this prayer
in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. For Help in Trials

Most holy apostle St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the name of the traitor who delivered your beloved Master into the hands of His enemies has caused you to be forgotten by many. But the Church honors and invokes you universally as the patron of hopeless cases–of things despaired of. Pray for me who feels so hopeless. Make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege accorded to you of bringing visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolations and succor of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, in particular (Pray3x), and that I may bless God with you and all the elect throughout eternity. I promise you, O Blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, and I will never cease to honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to do all in my power to encourage devotion to you.
