The Book of Revelations speaks of Satan exercising his might on earth. But he is overcome by the Lamb. Satan is called “dragon” or “serpent” in Revelations (See verse 12:9)
Here are just a few of the passages:Rev 12:7 Now war arose in heaven, Michael and his angels fighting against the dragon; and** the dragon and his angels fought,** 12:8 but they were defeated and there was no longer any place for them in heaven. 12:9 And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the Devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world – he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.

12:12 Rejoice then, O heaven and you that dwell therein! But woe to you, O earth and sea, for the devil has come down to you in great wrath, because he knows that his time is short!"

12:17 Then the dragon was angry with the woman, and went off to make war on the rest of her offspring, on those who keep the commandments of God and bear testimony to Jesus. And he stood on the sand of the sea.

13:4 Men worshiped the dragon, for he had given his authority to the beast, and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast, and who can fight against it?”

20:7 And when the thousand years are ended, Satan will be loosed from his prison 20:8 and will come out to deceive the nations which are at the four corners of the earth, that is, Gog and Magog, to gather them for battle; their number is like the sand of the sea. 20:9 And they marched up over the broad earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city; but fire came down from heaven and consumed them, 20:10 and the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire
