By Tim Waggoner SAN FRANCISCO, September 22, 2008 (LifeSitNews.com) - Last year, after horrified Americans bombarded the beer company with complaints, decision makers at the Miller Brewing Company chose to pull the company logo from an offensive advertisement for the Folsom Street Fair, an event…

Since I do not drink beer, I guess I am boycotting the company already

Since when did Miller make beer?
Really… Budweiser (and others ) are much better…

I would write a letter to Miller… but just wonder what good it will do… any company that would go that far… well… they aren’t stupid… they knew they were going to get boycotted… Apparently, they don’t care??? Or they have morons for CEOs???

anywya… i will inform others of this nonsenese… :banghead: :ouch:

These two possibilities, among dozens, are NOT mutually exclusive. 😦

I just wanna say thank you for posting the rest of the article. I read it and now I think I’m sick. I definitely could have done without those pictures for the rest of my life. I don’t drink Miller Beer, I’m a Bud man, but I will take up the cause and tell others about this. You should post a warning with the link telling people that while reading the story they will see things that they can’t un-see.

I don’t understand how the city allows this stuff at all. It just boggles my mind. And why corporate sponsors would tolerate this stuff just calls to mind how corrupt things have become, particularly in state of California. No thank you.

Aren’t there laws against lewd and lascivious conduct? Have we become a nation that is so tolerant of this behavior that we have been blinded by relativistic and evil behavior…and this is pure evil.

Bud? PM me. You need enlightenment. 😃 We’ll talk beer.

It’s called “free speech”. One one of the pitfalls of a free society, unfortunately; moralistic relativism has taken over. Guess JP II was right afterall. 😦

As with any boycott, you have to write the company know about it and why you’re doing it in order to have a chance of being effective.

What, so people with same gender preferences cannot be marketed too for beer? 🤷

I am not a fan of Miller beers, but I will continue to drink them when I can. There are many smaller microbrews across Wisconsin to enjoy.

This is normal business marketing, no more, no less.

NewUlm, this is a crazy street display. Did you look at the pictures? I’m not interested in seeing BDSM displays on street corners, regardless of the genders of the participants. Kink, or sex in general, is not a public display. As a member of the queer community, I would NOT want to be represented by this.

I saw the other link after you mentioned it. Yes public nudity like that we have indency laws against, but as far as I know those are only selected pictures. I doubt the entire festival is like this, I realize it only takes a few bad apples that are unrepresentative of the entire community. If it was like this for the entire festival I doubt they would continue to get a permit from the city to put it on.

I think the festival should go on, but police should enforce all indency laws to ensure indecent exposure does not happen.

I would expect CoorsMiller’s marketing department has reviewed the entire event to decide on future sponsorship. Some may not be decided by the national corporation as much as by a local beer distributor.

oh wow…i think i liked the sexually implied commercials better.
this is pretty sad and demoralizing to the queer community. I expect better out of beer companies that seem to think that drinking beer=getting laid. And continue to support that… Why can’t we stick to the hilarious Budwieser commericial at the Olympics?

(btw, Bud only rocks in its commericals;) )

…and i wouldn’t drink Miller regardless. It falls in the same category as most American beers: **** water

except Sam Adams of course:D
