the wide spread use of contraception did not happen overnight. like the many causes I suggested it happened over the course of a few generations. At least two generations had no fear of dieing from stds before aids that was my original point You are correct that my statement as stated in 22 was factually wrong. Other factors that have changed is the number of women that remained in the workforce after ww2. the delaying of marriage until later years.
