I’ve been worried about something lately, I prayed to padre pio for like a month. I wanted a sign

A month later I went to a healing conference. At the healing conference a man came up to me and asked if he could pray for me, he kept talking to me and he asked if he could speak to me outside, I shoooed him away

. He then pulled out his pocket a picture of padre pio it was a relic and he gave it to me, he then handed me one of his old mittens (one that belonged to padre pio). I then chatted to him about my worries and he told me not to worry.

was it a coincidence or God working/ a sign?

I would definitely think it was a sign that St. Padre Pio interceded for you.

“Coincidence is God’s way of remaining Anonymous.”

I’ve seen the above quote a couple of weeks ago. It’s popular although I hadn’t ‘seen’ it before.

I asked God to explain ‘coincidences’ to me more than a month ago. I’ve been dealing with some issues with departed family members. It seemed like coincidences with my relatives name were popping up everywhere this past year, and I’ve been praying for them. It’s something my grandmother taught me. If someone comes to your mind, especially a person who has passed, pray for them. They need it either because they’re in purgatory or they have a special need or intention for someone here.

Yes, sometimes a coincidence is our brains way of making sense of random happenings, sayings, or items. The brain looks for patterns. But some, like the one you describe sounds pretty much like our Good Padre was praying for you and in God’s goodness granted you such as gift!

And what gifts! A mitten! Wow!

We’re not supposed to look for signs all the time, but out on our lonesome so much we might need one. Our Lord knows this.
