I don’t normally like movies like this, there is something “fake” about the whole production or parents seem like they are more into the money aspect of it. This though seems like a sweet movie with a more believable plot and I like Jennifer Warren, I think she will do a great job. Maybe what I need this Easter season with all the horrible news and political reality shows.
I also liked, and this is a personal thing, that she described Jesus in a historical way, not the way some books have him (blonde/blue eyed) He had dark skin and a beard, more historical being Jewish and where he came from.

I have a sample of the book coming to my kindle.

Jennifer Warren or Jennifer Garner?

I just saw a clip of this movie yesterday. I don’t know the story and just caught part of the ad. Normally I don’t like movies like this either.
If you see it you will have to give a review.

Sorry, Garner…was looking at too many things that morning.
I think I will hold out opinion until then. What attracted me to at least watch, was that it was somewhat simple, she didn’t go on and on about conversations, she didn’t give pictures of things she might have seen in bible story books, and either way, her healing, whether spontaneous and unexplained or a miracle, is a good thing. I hope she does go on to be closer to God and find her vocation in life.

Just got home from seeing this movie.

Its a true story and it was excellent ! 👍

Some Catholics might have a problem with it for the people are not Catholic, but the story is about faith and the challenge life brings to faith.

It was a real tear-jerker.
