How can I tell if my question was answered?

Thanks, joyce
do you mean how can you tell if god answered your prayers…

it’s easy god receives, hears, and answers every prayer…but sometimes not in the way we like…if it not gods will what we ask for then god won’t give it to us but he will give us what is best for us and what is his will…

another thing sometime when praying you can start to think am i praying right, am i even praying, can god hear me…can god even understand what i saying or is he confused…i found a simple answer to this.
*as soon as you direct a though to god you are praying to him
*.god knows every thought in our mind and heart so he can hear our prayers…there is nothing hidden from him…
*if you can understand in your mind what you are trying to say then god will also know…no matter how confusing it seems…he would even know what we were trying to say even when we are confused…

i found that these little pointers help because then you can relax in your own mind that god can hear and that he know what you are trying to say

is that what your question was about …or do you mean if your question was answered on the forum…in which case you would get an email notifying you of a reply

ANGELIC PEACE

I’m confused. Lord send me an email notification?
I think OP wants to know when a question (not a prayer) has been answered.

But wouldn’t it be great if knowing that our prayers are answered were that easy?!

Thank you all for your varied answers.

Yes, I meant how do I know my forum question was answered.

My question was, "Have there been any reported miracles of people being cured of mental illness?
I don’t mean in scripture. I mean in modern times or least in the world after Christ’s death.

There are some Saints who were healed of mental illness. St. John of God (for medical persons) I believe is one of them.

However, if you want to know more recent stories on the healing of mental illness, just ask a “mental health nurse”. I’m a nurse and I have seen many miracles. God is preforming them everyday.

The saddest thing is that some people don’t realize a miracle has occured and sometimes just blame the correction on medication… Where do they think the meds came from?

At the beginning of this thread (ie. your post). On top, there is a set of submenu - go to “Thread Tools” and select “Subscribe to this thread”. Whoever replies to this thread, you will get an -email.

I would also say there are some saints that struggled with mental illness like saint Benedict Lobre. They say he might have suffered from schizophrenia. He was kicked out of two religious orders and became a vagabond.

Thank you all for your various responses. I will research or try to obtain books on “miracles and mental illness”.
