It is the difference between being given an answer and being told how to obtain an answer.

When you ask what time it is, do you appreciate people that answer “time to buy a watch.”

Often it portays more sarcasm and ignorance then likely intended.

Your sarcasm is not funny and I don’t appreciate you insinuating my links aren’t legit. You may find it amusing, but I find it rude and condescending. Please think about how your post might (and likely does) sound to others prior to posting it next time.
